What this is

zvex skills speak MCP (Model Context Protocol). Install once, then say "audit the security of this code" in Claude, Cursor or WorkBuddy — the assistant calls the matching skill, runs the analysis and hands you the result.

Before you start

  1. Create an account — sign in with WorkBuddy or Google; new accounts can claim free trial credits. Sign in to see plans →
  2. Create an API key — open Console → Credentials, create one and copy the zvex- string (shown only once). Hosted engines and credit settlement use it.

The key is a credential — don't share it. It spends your credits: anyone holding it can call skills. If it leaks, revoke and recreate it in the console.

Configure your client

SkillHub install (self-service, recommended): send this prompt to your AI assistant — “Follow skillhub.cn/install/skillhub.md to install @indiv-zvex/<skill-name>” — no manual configuration needed. See all 150+ skills in the directory.

Hosted engines (provisioned): available to enterprise and partner accounts; we deliver a dedicated configuration and key. Request via contact@zvex.cn.

API key (billing and open API): create it in the console and copy the zvex- string (shown only once).

Hosted engines

Some expert skills are delivered as hosted engines and work out of the box inside WorkBuddy; other deployments (private hosting, custom engines) are evaluated case by case — contact us. See all 150+ skills in the directory.

Troubleshooting

SymptomCause and fix
401 API key is missing, invalid, or revokedThe key is missing, wrong or revoked — check or recreate it in the console.
402 Not enough creditsNot enough credits — open the console and retry.
405 Method Not AllowedSkill endpoints accept POST and SSE requests only; use an MCP client rather than raw curl.

Tool errors carry the server's reason verbatim — your assistant can usually decide the next step without you reading logs.

Get a key, then just ask.
